.info domains
The extension for information sites
Launched in 2001, .info was one of the first generic extensions added after the original set. It suits reference sites, guides and informational resources.
Who can register?
Open to anyone worldwide through an accredited registrar.
Registry: Identity Digital
Best for
- Information and reference sites
- Guides and directories
- Campaign micro-sites
Finding a good .info name
Because .info has historically been cheap to register, buyers treat it as lower-value than .com; build value with content rather than reselling.
